South Side Middle School has new theatrical team

Victor Lee and Melissa DeLaVega, middle school faculty members, have assumed leadership of South Side’s Drama Club. Their first production will be the fall revue, “A Night of Disney Magic” on Friday, Nov. 15 at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday the 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Lee has been involved in the Drama Club for years, running the lights, sound and technical direction for middle school shows. DeLaVega is in her second year as chorus teacher, having taught at Hewitt for five years. Both are very enthusiastic about the Disney themed revue and are looking forward to a successful fall show as well as a great spring musical.
