Off to see the Wizards The Harlem Wizards will take on an All-Star Lynbrook School District staff team on Thursday, March 30th at 7 p.m. in the Lynbrook High School gym. The game is sponsored and subsidized by the Lynbrook Community Coalition. All tickets are $5, with a maximum of 10 tickets per person. Tickets can be purchased at the following times and places: Lynbrook High School gym Saturday, March 25 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Lynbrook Village Hall, Sunday, March 26 from 1 p.m. to 2p.m. Driver’s Ed course The East Rockaway High School PTA is sponsoring a Defensive driving course on Monday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 5 from 7 to 10 p.m. Students, $37, PTA members $40 and others $45. VFW holiday bazaar The VWF of Lynbrook is hosting a huge Holiday Bazaar on Sunday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. Proceeds from the sale of spaces to vendors, concessions and plant sales go directly to the VFW to support their post. In addition, the VFW will have a table to welcome any qualifing Veteran to join the Post. Please support our Veterans by joining us at this very exciting event.The location The Veterans of Foreign War, 235 Merrick Road, Lynbrook.

Mommy/daddy & me classes are at Rhame Avenue Elementary School in East Rockaway, now through May 13 (excluding April 15), Saturdays from 10 a.m. until noon. Care planning Knights of Columbus of Lynbrook, St. Mary's Council #2228 will be sponsoring a seminar on the topic of Long Term Care Planning on Thursday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Council, 78 Hempstead Avenue, Lynbrook. Both current and prospective members can attend to learn more about Long Term Care and Medicare/Medicaid.Come enjoy a pasta dinner with coffee and cake as our guest as well.
