Oceanside Kiwanians will take to the griddle iron to whip up their annual old-fashioned Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast, complete with sausage, ham, eggs, bagels and all the fixings for pre-game family fun at St. Anthony's cafeteria, 110 Anchor Avenue in Oceanside, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 5. The breakfast also features face painting, spin art, balloons, a football toss and the ever-popular touchdown raffle table overflowing with prizes for the whole family. Proceeds from the fund-raiser will be used to send needy children to Kamp Kiwanis this summer. Adult admission is $5. Children ages 12 and under are $3. Pay at the door. Designing jeans

The library will host an AARP free senior tax assistance program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting on Feb. 8 and running until April 11.
