Counseling and bereavement assistance

The Diocese is providing the services through a coordinated effort from its Office of Pastoral Formation, Catholic Health Services of Long Island and Catholic Charities. The effort will result in the establishment of a number of counseling and bereavement sites in Nassau County.
Support will be provided at no charge at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre and Catholic Charities in Hicksville. These centers will be arranged as "drop-in" sites, staffed by trained counselors.
