Take a shot Free flu shots are being offered by the East Rockaway School District, in conjunction with the Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen Affairs, the Department of Health and the Nassau University Medical Center's 'Senior Citizen Flu Immunization Program'. Coats of many colors The annual Coats for Kids (and adults) Drive will run through the month of October. Donate your used children and adult- size coats which will be cleaned and distributed to needy families throughout Nassau County. (Coats only, no clothing or shoes.) Collection boxes will be located in the Lynbrook Kindergarten Center, every Lynbrook School District School building, Lynbrook Village Hall and the library.
