A slice of history The East Rockaway Grist Mill Museum is open for the season and will be open every Saturday and Sunday, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. until Labor Day. In addition to the memorabilia exhibits, there will be a millinery showcase this year, and a look at toys from the past. The museum is located at Woods and Atlantic Avenues in East Rockaway.
