On June 1st, 2013 Hewlett High School and the Straight to Equality club hosted the first annual spring into summer dance. The dance was $10 and the money raised will be donated to underprivileged children on Long Island for the Kids4Kids foundation. DJ Pace featured the music for this wonderful event. Club and Dance Advisor Walter Lastowski said, " I am so proud of the kids for putting this together and making it a success." Leor Ginzburg, president of the club and Caroline Smyth, vice president of the club worked diligently to prepare for this dance along with specialized committees.
