coming up on the SEason: migrant farmworkers in the northeast traces the path of fruits and vegetables we eat and the lives of people who grow and harvest them. Based on five years of fieldwork and documentation, the exhibit examines the world behind the supermarket shelves. There is a special section about Long Island's migrant workers. European Art between the wars is the new exhibition at Nassau County Museum of Art. It demonstrates the creation of the modern art movement through works by such landmark artists as Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Modigliani, Braque, and others.
