On March 30, the St. Agnes Cathedral School Home School Association (HSA) held a Career Day for the 8th grade class. Students had the opportunity to attend three sessions and meet with adults from the community who are involved in diverse professions. This year the speakers included Lt. Tom Burke with the NYPD; Dr. Al Faust, Orlin & Cohen; Eileen Garvey, Ernst & Young LLP; Chris Ledwith, G4 network; Judy Livingston, Kramer, Dillof, Livingston & Moore; Kathleen Ryan-Cunningham, Catholic Charities and Kevin St. Pierre, Alliance Bernstein. The visitors were strong role models for the participating students — especially important as they begin to prepare for graduation and going on to high school in September.
