Students complete arts and crafts project for pediatric patients

Arthur Gianelli, president/CEO of the Nassau Health Care Corporation, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the students who had spent many hours working on their project: "Thank you for completing such a worthwhile project. Our pediatric patients were thrilled to receive such personally crafted book bags and the books provided them with hours of reading pleasure while they were recuperating in the hospital." Members of the Family and Consumer Science Class of Woodland Avenue School, therapist Victoria Prisco and patients, Andrea and Dave, as they work on holiday crafts that the class brought with them during a recent hospital visit.
