The Extended Playground Camp hosted a fundraiser car wash last week at School No. 6 in Oceanside. The event was held, in cooperation with Oceanside Community Service, to re-supply the Oceanside Food Bank; all cars were “charged” a donation of canned goods to the food bank. The camp collected at least four boxes in donations, camp supervisor Nancy Baxter said.
