The National Circus Project paid a visit to Oceanside schools this month, spending a week with students during gym class to teach them how to spin, twirl, juggle, and walk on stilts. On Jan. 8, at the end of the week, fifth-graders from School No. 4 performed for students, friends, and family at School No. 6. Students came up with names for each act, and performed side-by-side with professionals from the National Circus Project. Guests enjoyed traditional circus food like cotton candy and popcorn in the Walker Gym.
