There were scenes of celebration in Churchill’s Restaurant and Bar, Kasey’s Kitchen & Cocktails, and Stinger’s Irish Pub on Sunday night, as the New York Giants prevailed over the New England Patriots in a 21-17 thriller that was Super Bowl XLVI.
Patrons from Rockville Centre and surrounding communities cheered on Big Blue, which went from underdogs to top dogs, as quarterback Eli Manning, the game’s MVP, led the team to its second Super Bowl championship in five years.
