Beware Grand Avenue.
That's what Baldwin residents, fire department personnel, and local politicians are saying in response to heavy commercial truck traffic that barrels down the road each day. Residents are once again bringing the issue to the attention of local politicians hoping to get some relief.
Politicians who attended the Feb. 9 PTA Legislative Forum, held at the Baldwin Senior High School, could offer few solutions.
Resident Ronald Oriani, who lives with his wife and four children near Grand Avenue on Garfield Road and before that resided on East Seaman Avenue, raised the issue of truck traffic to local politicians at the PTA forum.
