Turnover decides football game

After a scoreless first half, the Bulldogs broke out the bag of tricks to spark the first scoring drive of the day. On a fourth-and-14 from midfield, Seibald gained 18 yards on a fake punt. Three plays later, quarterback Jon Baron (92 yards rushing on 15 carries) scored on a 22-yard run. Seibald's extra point made it 7-0.
South Side, behind standout signal-caller Tom Pisselli (19-for-33 for 173 yards), closed the gap and thought it had taken the lead midway through the fourth. Pisselli hit Rich Caster for a 5-yard touchdown, but a successful two-point conversion was nullified by a penalty and the extra point was missed on the next play.
The Cyclones got the ball back immediately thanks to a well-executed on-sides kick, but as they were driving for the potential game-winning field-goal try, Seibald picked off Pisselli and found his way into the end zone 63 yards later.
