Wilson School’s fourth graders and their teachers were a sea of red as they looked forward to a great school year, and took time out to remember victims of terror and those who serve the country.

On Sept. 11, the staff and students of Wilson Elementary School wore new red t-shirts to symbolize their unity and pay tribute to the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of that day, 11 years ago. The shirts were ordered for them by the Wilson PTA.
This “Spirit Day” was also sponsored by the Wilson School Student Government, under the direction of teachers Kara Spinelli and Pat Meehan. Principal Tom Ricupero had students observe a moment of silence the first thing that morning in honor of all those who lost their lives and for those who serve our country every day.
