Farmer’s Market winding down

Long Beach’s popular farmer’s market will be held at Kennedy Plaza on Nov. 5, 9 and 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market — which has taken place every Wednesday and Saturday for the last few months — features a variety of produce, treats and other foods, and will culminate on Nov. 12. St. Mary of the Isle’s Las Vegas Night

On Saturday, Nov. 5, St. Mary of the Isle is having a Las Vegas Night at its parish hall on East Park Ave. from 8 p.m. to midnight. In addition to blackjack, money and horse wheels, roulette and beat the dealer, there will be raffles, a Chinese auction, 300 Club drawing, beer, wine and music. Remembering Kristallnacht
