The Island Park Chamber of Commerce welcomed Vape Ranger, located at 4545 Austin Blvd, in Island Park on May 31.

The goal of Vape Ranger is to get people to quit smoking cigarettes, according to Alessio, who said owner Josh Goldfeder does not want others to struggle with quitting the way he did. Their customer might start with liquids that have 18 milligrams of nicotine, reduce to 12 mg., then 6, then 3 and finally no nicotine at all. From that point on it’s about the flavor of the liquid you chose, and “it becomes a hobby,” he said.

All the liquid they sell is made in American, and all the nicotine is pharmaceutical quality. The liquids may contain nicotine, but will also contain vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, and flavor.
