Village thanks Judge Williams

Friends, family and colleagues gathered in the Village Hall courtroom to honor the retiring justice on June 20. During the celebration, Judge Williams was presented with a Waterford gavel, Judge Frank Yannelli and former Village Attorney Martha Krisel praised Judge Williams' work, and court clerk Chris Tarpinian sang her version of "Thanks for the Memories:"
"Thanks for the memories
Arraignments and conference nights
Defendants left and right
I'm not guilty of this charge
I really want a trial
I had my seat belt on
My license was never suspended
Someone else was using my name
I didn't see the red light
The sun was too bright
Memories, oh, memories
Thanks for the memories
For your kindness and your grace
Always a smiling face
With honesty and fairness toward the whole human race

We'll miss you so much!"
