Tovsky, a celebrity talent booker and event producer, has created a unique and innovative company called Soap Celebrations, which provides the opportunity for fans to book their favorite soap opera actors and actresses for a truly unforgettable event.
Through her career in the entertainment industry and the various charity events she has been involved with, Tovsky has worked with many daytime soap stars and has established a wonderful relationship with them. This has enabled her to offer soap fans the exciting opportunity to interact with the stars they love, and Tovsky can cater each party to the unique desires of the particular client.
Tovsky, a Valley Stream South High School graduate, studied television production and received a bachelor of arts degree in communications/media from Binghamton University. She has had more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry and decided to capitalize on a creative and innovative idea she had for a company that goes a step beyond allowing fans to meet and interact with the soap celebrities they adore.
³I had been booking these celebrities for charity events and I had the idea to do something different with them,² said Tovsky of her business endeavor. ³This is a fun idea, too, with personal appearances.²
Accustomed to wrangling celebrities for television shows, charity events and award shows, Tovsky created Soap Celebrations based on her concept of gathering the celebrities for personal events held by fans. Like her company itself, the options it offers truly are one-of-a-kind. Tovsky¹s company is unprecedented in that it not only gives fans the chance to mingle with the soap actors, but provides them with the option of performing a dramatic scene with them, that is written exclusively for, and tailored to, the client.
For these fans, many of whom are willing to travel thousands of miles to attend designated events in hopes of even getting a personal glimpse or an autograph, the chance to invite daytime actors and actresses to their parties and receive such special attention from them is an exciting opportunity that will surely make for an unforgettable personal event.
Tovsky has essentially created a company that bridges the benevolence of soap actors and the appreciation that they have for their fans with the love and admiration that their fan base has for their favorite soap operas and daytime performers.
³There are so many fans that love the actors and will travel to see them,² said Tovsky. ³This is different. What a fun idea it would be for someone to do a soap scene with a hunky actor.²
Tovsky¹s company also offers the client a wide variety of party extras, including photography, video, props, catering and even the chance to have hair, makeup and wardrobe done by professional stylists, so that the fans can participate in an event that is special because it is customized for them.
For those interested in hosting a Soap Celebrations party, fees are negotiated on a person-to-person basis depending on the particular actor one would like to book and the party extras selected by the client. Tovsky¹s reputation allows her to offer fans virtually any soap celebrity they desire, however, to ensure the availability of your favorite star, it is encouraged that you make arrangements for your party adequately ahead of time. Soap Celebrations is offered to fans nationwide and stars can be flown to your locale for a reasonable price, if necessary.
These options are intended to make the client feel like the star of their own show, and with Soap Celebrations, they certainly are, according to Tovsky.
