Summer Celebration: Small World Puppets

Come to the Rockville Centre Library and sing a silly song with Small World Puppets at this family friendly puppet show filled with all of your favorite characters. All ages invited. Best of Motown

Dr. K’s Motown Revue, the acclaimed tribute band, visits Eisenhower Park, on Friday, at 8 p.m., for an evening that will have everyone dancing in their seats. ‘In our yellow submarine’…

Famed cartoonist Ron Campbell, the animator on the Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” film, among his many projects, visits Long Island Picture Frame in Massapequa Park, Friday through Sunday, Aug. 12-14, as part of an exhibit of his original Beatles cartoon art. The exhibit, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ final New York concert appearance, also includes artwork of other cartoon characters encompassing his 50-year career.  Info: (516) 798-8400 or www.lipf.com.
