Oceanside High School girls participated in the 45th annual Sport Night on Mar. 5, when the White Warriors and the Broadway Blue teams competed in front of a packed house.
For several years the White Team was the winner, then last year the Blue Team broke that streak. This year White took the event, winning the Sportsmanship award as well.
Michael Howley acted as Master of Ceremonies for the night.
The gym was decorated in artwork, one of the categories, and also part of the judging.
The event began with the entrance, with the girls doing a choreographed dance, followed by the Psyche, which is a cheer.
Then the sporting events begin. Those included four-corner volleyball, free throw basketball, running races, and a tug of war.
