Wilson has been a resident of Long Beach for her entire life. Prior to her appointment, Wilson held the position of clerk in the City Manager's office for five years. She is an active member of the community and attends Hofstra University, where she expects to graduate with a B.A. in Public Affairs in December, 2008.
As Deputy Clerk, Ms. Wilson will handle the duties and obligations of the City Clerk during his absence or disability. The City Clerk's office maintains copies of all City resolutions, local laws and official documents, retains vital records, and distributes licenses and parking permits.
