Traditional goal-setting asks too much of willpower and too little of reality. It assumes that motivation is stable, that life will cooperate, and that change happens neatly within arbitrary timelines. Behavioral research consistently shows the opposite. Willpower fluctuates. Stress, fatigue and unexpected events derail even the most sincere intentions. more
Here’s hoping that 2026 will bring us nothing but success in enhancing the quality of life in New York. So here’s my wish list. more
