Early morning robbery in Valley Stream

Nassau County Police are seeking the man who robbed a 20-year-old in Valley Stream early Thursday morning.
According to police, a man was walking on South Montgomery Street when was approached by another man. The robber displayed a silver handgun and went through the victim's pockets, taking a cell phone, iPod and cash. The robber then got into a vehicle which fled northbound.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 5-foot-10, wearing dark pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a blue bandana over his face. No injuries were reported.
