Zachary Richman (Hewlett)
An integral piece of the Bulldogs’ football and lacrosse teams, Richman helped lead both to the playoffs and earned All-County honors in both sports as a senior. As the starting quarterback in 2012, he passed for 1,009 yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 632 yards and 15 scores. He’ll play lacrosse at Tufts after registering 34 goals and 27 assists.

Eddie Robinson (Lawrence)
An All-County performer on the gridiron and hardwood, Robinson will play football at Colgate after a record-setting receiving career for the Golden Tornadoes. He had 51 catches for 1,156 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2012, and his interception return for a score was the difference in Lawrence’s 21-20 win over Sayville in the Long Island Class III championship game.

Mark Romanowski (South Side)
The Nassau Boys’ Soccer Player of the Year and an All-American in 2012, Romanowski is bound for the Ivy League and Princeton. He helped the Cyclones to two county Class A championships as well as a runner-up finish. He scored the winning goal in the 2010 final and for his career had 12 goals and 11 assists despite playing defense primarily.

Hunter Sabety (Oceanside)
Nassau’s top big man on the basketball court, Sabety, who averaged 22 points, 17 rebounds and 7.5 blocks per game, led the Sailors to a coveted postseason berth and posted a remarkable 48 points and 24 rebounds in an outbracket playoff victory at Massapequa. The two-time All-County 6-foot-8 center had six triple-doubles. He is bound for Tufts.  

Steven Sewkumar (Long Beach)
Sewkumar capped a tremendous wrestling career for the Marines by earning All-American honors. He finished eighth in the 113-pound weight class at the National High School Coaches Association National Championships in Virginia Beach, following up his Nassau County title and All-State performance. He went 43-9 as a senior and won 133 of 165 matches overall. He is headed to Hofstra.
