Pair intern with county clerk

Posted

Michael Hayes and Alhaji Koroma, of Valley Stream, recently completed summer internships at County Clerk Maureen O’Connell’s office. Hayes, a student at Adelphi University, worked in the clerk’s legal receiving and accounting departments. Koroma worked in the land records section, block and lot division, and attends St. John’s University.

The clerk’s office summer internship program offers area college students interested in government the opportunity to obtain valuable experience in many facets of public service. Each year, interns assist in the administrative, land recording and court record divisions of the office where these young men and women gain first hand experience while serving their community.
