Girl Scouts began their annual cookie sales on Jan. 9 at malls throughout the county. Several troops sold Thin Mints, Samoas, Do-Si-Dos, Tagalongs and more at the Green Acres Mall throughout the day.
At the Roosevelt Field Mall, girls successfully set the record for the largest cookie tower at 6 feet, 1/8 inch.
