Sip This, a new coffee shop on Rockaway Avenue, celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Saturday morning. Sip This, a coffee shop in Valley Stream's downtwon, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 10. Owners David Sabatino and Stephanie Pontillo were joined by Mayor Ed Fare, Town Councilman James Darcy, Chamber of Commerce President Debbi Gyulay and other local business leaders.
The shop, located in the former Slipped Disc Records store on Rockaway Avenue, officially opened its doors on Aug. 20. Sip This features art displays and live entertainments, and employs local Valley Stream residents.
