Teens robbed on Valley Stream side street

Three teenagers were robbed Friday afternoon in Valley Stream a few blocks from Central High School, and police are seeking three suspects.

According to Nassau County Police, the three teens were walking on Dogwood Road near East Avenue on April 15 at 2:52 p.m., shortly after the end of the school day, when they were approached by three males. The robbers went through the victim's pockets and stole property including an iPod, cell phone and money.

Police say the robbers fled eastbound on Dogwood Road, then south on Carl Street. No one was injured.

The subjects are described as black males in their teens with thin builds. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
