Two robbed in Valley Stream's west end

Two men were robbed while walking through the village’s west end on Monday night. According to Nassau County Police, the men were on Ivanhoe Place at about 10:45 p.m. when they were approached by two other men, who were armed with a handgun.

One the robbers held the victims at gunpoint, while the other suspect went through their pockets. They stole the victims’ cell phones, then ran northbound on Ivanhoe Place. The robbers were seen entering a blue Nissan Sentra, being driven by a third suspect, which then fled south on Hook Creek Boulevard.

The two victims were not injured.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-10 with a thin build wearing a black bandana on his face, a purple bandana on his head, a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-8 with a thin build wearing a black bandana over his face, white shirt and dark jeans.
