Valley Stream 7-11 robbed

A 7-11 store in Valley Stream was robbed on Sunday evening, and 5th Precinct police are seeking the suspect.

According to police, the man entered the store at 100 E. Sunrise Highway shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 19. He displayed a gun and demanded cash. The store clerk opened the register, and the robber reached over and grabbed money. After emptying the register, he left the store and fled westbound on Brooklyn Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male, 35 years old wearing blue jeans, a grey long-sleeve shirt, and a black hat,
