Valley Stream Post Office holding food drive

The Valley Stream Post Office has begun its annual spring food drive. Residents can drop off food in a collection bin near the entrance to the post office, located at the corner of Franklin and Hawthorne avenues, through May 16. On Saturday, May 14, Valley Stream residents can leave non-perishable food donations next to their mailbox to be picked up by their letter carrier.
