Willow Road Elementary School hosted a Multicultural Night that brought together students, families and staff to celebrate the diverse backgrounds represented within the school community.
The event invited participants to share their heritage through a variety of activities and displays. Many attendees wore traditional attire, filling the school gymnasium with a wide range of cultural expressions.
Families also contributed homemade dishes, giving guests the opportunity to sample foods from different regions and cultures. In addition, students and their families created posters and tri-fold presentations highlighting aspects of their heritage, including traditions, history, languages and customs.
The event provided an opportunity for members of the school community to connect and learn from one another while deepening their understanding of different cultures. Students explored their peers’ backgrounds while also expressing pride in their own heritage.
Willow Road continues to support initiatives that encourage cultural awareness, respect and community engagement through events such as Multicultural Night.
