Families gathered at the Wantagh Public Library on Oct. 18 for an afternoon of fall festivities.

The outdoor event, held rain or shine, featured Steppin’ Out Ponies’ petting zoo and the Pies on Wheels food truck, which served fresh pizza. Children enjoyed activities including coloring, dancing and temporary tattoos, while many came dressed in costume to add to the fun. The family-friendly event was open to Wantagh Library cardholders and required no registration.
