In accordance with Order 202.11 from Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the Seaford School District has pushed back its tentative the date for students to return to school until April 15. However, that date falls during the district’s spring break. According to a letter released on March 31 by Superintendent Dr. Adele Pecora, the district is awaiting guidance from Cuomo's office “specifying the impact that Executive Order 202.11 will have on our upcoming school break.”

The district's breakfast and lunch programs, as well as the SCOPE childcare program, will also continue through April 15. Both programs are located at Seaford Manor School.

Pecora wrote that the calendar for the remaining scholastic year may be amended on further review.

On March 30, the district was informed that all school budget votes and Board of Education election dates will be delayed to “no earlier than June 1.”
