A Few Clouds Wantagh Fire Department responds to car fire

A car fire occurred Friday morning near Tobay Beach near 3:30 a.m. on
Aug. 18.
The Wantagh Fire Department received a call for a car fire on Ocean Parkway. Under the command of Chief Tom Bloomfield, Engines three and five responded along with an on-duty safety officer.
The first responders went to work extinguishing the fire that fully engulfed the vehicle.
No injuries were reported as members were on the scene for roughly 45 minutes.
