The Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores hosted a community menorah lighting on Dec. 17, bringing residents together to celebrate the start of Hanukkah. Religious leaders from Congregation Beth Ohr led the gathering in prayer as the Bellmores lit a 10-foot menorah in honor of the eight-day Jewish holiday.
Community members, local leaders and families attended the event, which emphasized the themes of faith, resilience and unity. The ceremony served as an opportunity for residents to come together during the holiday season and celebrate the cultural and religious diversity of the Bellmores.
