According to the Queens District Attorney's office, Guy Rivera was convicted of aggravated manslaughter in the first degree. Additionally, he has a conviction of first-degree attempted murder and was acquitted of murder in the first degree. Sentencing has been scheduled for April 27 and Rivera faces up to 90 years in prison.

Hearing loss and tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in the ears) are often dismissed as normal parts of aging. However, research shows untreated hearing loss affects far more than hearing. It is linked to cognitive decline, depression, social isolation, increased fall risk, poor sleep, and even dementia.
