The East Meadow football team had its season ended last Saturday for a second straight year by Massapequa in the opening round of the Nassau Conference I playoffs. The third-seeded Chiefs jumped out to a 21-point halftime lead en route to a convincing 56-21 victory over the sixth-seeded Jets.

Homecoming weekend offers students an opportunity to showcase their school spirit, and East Meadow students did just that last weekend. Per Homecoming tradition, students in all grade classes designed their own floats, and marched down East Meadow streets in celebration.
These year’s Homecoming King was Franz De Leon, who was accompanied in the parade by Homecoming Queen Gianna Bova.
