The East Rockaway School District welcomed nine new educators and staff members ahead of the 2026-27 school year, giving the group a chance to get acquainted with the district before students return to the classroom.

The new staff members took part in orientation at East Rockaway Junior-Senior High School on Aug. 26 and 27 as they prepared to begin their new roles across the district’s three schools.

Joining the high school are Samuel Anglim, Katherine DiLuccio, Morgan Milleisen and Sara Orioles. Declan Griffin and Jamie Maddaluno will join the staff at Rhame Avenue Elementary School, while Antonia Prisciandaro, Darcie Wallace and Haley Weinstein will work at Centre Avenue Elementary School.

District officials welcomed the new employees and said they look forward to the experience and enthusiasm they will bring to East Rockaway students and the school community throughout the coming year.
