Lynbrook kicks off Patriots’ Weekend with community celebration

Lynbrook’s annual Patriots’ Weekend celebration got underway at Greis Park on Monday evening, drawing residents for live music, family activities and a community picnic. The event featured Music at the Plaza, a children’s magic show, the mayor’s opening ceremony and a performance by the Lynbrook Libertybells.
The evening was set to conclude with the village’s “Salute to Our Veterans” fireworks display, honoring local veterans and active service members. Residents gathered throughout the park to celebrate Memorial Day and kick off the holiday festivities.
