Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra
Take a stroll down memory lane with the songs that topped the Hit Parade during the World War II years. The current version of one of the popular singing groups of that era, the Pied Pipers, join the famed Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra for a nostalgic afternoon of song. The 15-piece orchestra, directed by trombonist Bill Tole, and singers will perform such cherished hits as “I’ll Never Smile Again,” “In the Mood,” “I’m Getting Sentimental Over You,” “Boogie Woogie,” “Stardust,” and many more from the era’s songbook.

Nature Walk
Hike Muttontown Preserve from “End to End” on a guided walk through some the preserve’s 550 acres of fields, woodlands, ponds, and estate grounds. The vigorous five to six mile hike includes trails not often visited by the public. It will take in ponds, fresh-water marshland and open fields, as well as the grounds around Nassau Hall. Look for the birds that make their home there.
