Nassau police responded to reports of a disturbance at the McDonald’s on Rockaway Turnpike in Lawrence at 9:05 p.m. on Nov. 9.

Officers found Jonathan Green, 37, who was asked to leave the eatery.

Green complied and walked outside, but then attempted to go back in and refused the police officers commands to stop, according to police. A fight began and the two officers were injured during the arrest, as Green “was violent and combative while resisting arrest,” police said.

The two officers and Green were all taken to nearby hospitals for assessment and treatment.

Green, who is homeless, is charged with two counts of assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Nov. 10, Green was issued a summons and at press time no further information was available.
