Franklin Square Public Library celebrates new entranceway

The Franklin Square Public Library held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 12, celebrating its new entranceway.

Library Trustee Patricia Galaskas, from left; Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages; Julie Soffientini, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at the Franklin Square UFSD; Patrick Manley, the F.S. school district’s superintendent; Library Board President Francis Ammendolea; Assemblyman Ed Ra; F.S. Chamber of Commerce member Bruno Caracciolo; Assistant Library Director Peggy Smith; Library Trustee William Youngfert, Library Director Lisa Paulo, F.S. chamber member Mary Seifert; and Town Councilman Ed Ambrosino attended.
