The innovative children’s musical group Hot Peas ‘N Butter brings their mellow multicultural vibe to the Madison Theatre, on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m., at Molloy College.
Nickelodeon and Noggin TV favorites, this appealing group was founded by New York City-based musicians Danny Lapidus and Francisco Cotto, best friends since childhood. Pumping out tunes that make kids – and their parents – want to get up and dance, Hot Peas ‘N Butter incorporates elements of traditional Latin music, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, jazz, folk, and rock into their unique sound. By combining an interactive, invigorating approach to performance with mature, multicultural music, the group has developed a distinct way of inspiring care and creativity in kids and adults alike.
Tickets are $25, $15 children. For more information, contact (516) 678-5000 ext. 7715 or www.madisontheatreny.org.
