Hundreds of students, parents and football fans filled the bleachers at North Shore High School as the varsity football team played its first game under the field’s new floodlights. The new lights were part of a $16 million capital reserve project passed by the district alongside the budget at the end of the 2025/26 year.
The Vikings won the game 47-14 against the Carle Place Frogs on Sept. 10, the first of many future Thursday night football games for North Shore School Districts fans, families and residents to enjoy.
