Learning fun at Prospect School

Posted

The first week of March united Prospect School’s kindergarteners and first-graders around reading and a pet goldfish.

In the first days of March, the school celebrated Dear Spirit Week. Students wore crazy hats, silly socks, and superhero attire to read! They read and listened to many books throughout the week. At the end of the week, students participated in a reading playdate. Kindergarten and 1st grade classes partnered up with pre-K classes to read to and with them. Students had a wonderful time at their reading playdate. Some students even got to take a book home.

Pre-K classes at Prospect School added a new member to their classes! The children received a class fish. They named it and are taking care of it by feeding it every day. Students are learning about Beta Fish and how to take care of them.
