Celebrating some of the last days of summer, Island Park's San Gennaro Feast brought people out into the warm weather over the weekend of Sept. 12.
Hosted by the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, the annual feast featured rides and games for the whole family. Colorful characters were walking around to make children smile, and there was delicious Italian food on-hand for everyone to enjoy.
The event is held in honor of San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples.
