The Oceanside High School thespians took the stage on Friday evening Jan. 5 and again for a Saturday matinee performance on Jan 6.
Michael Savopoulos had the lead role as Willy Wonka and Annie Carter shone as Charlie Bucket. Grandpa Joe was played by Dylan Campbell, and Logan Bowe, Arielle Ziff, Julietta Beauchesne, and Alexa Perri rounded out the main cast as Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, and Mike Teavee.
Students also performed at schools two, eight and 9E, the days before the official show.
